L'etoile (Tea Room Cafe) - Comment

I\'ve come for dinner a few times and enjoyed it, but recently tried it out for lunch for a friend\'s birthday and had a terrific experience. We were seated in the private \"green\" room. Our waiter was new, which worried us, there was no need. I should\'ve known l\'etoile would accept only the most capable and intriguing people. He was friendly, witty, handsome, and admitted to knowing more about the food than people probably want to hear. He delivered mimosa\'s with fresh squeezed orange juice and playfully chose our lunches for us. Everything was delicious and the turkey and brie, in particular, was a triumph.

i love the brick oven. the salad bar is amazing and the pizza is the best hands down. maybe some dining guide users just don\'t care for the color scheme of the restaurant. as for the rest rooms they are clean and fresh smelling. i know they pay to have them professionally cleaned by cintas because i spoke with the owner.

Marco & Luca's Noodle Shop - Comment

Such a superb little shop...every time I go there with friends, we end up ordering seconds. Inexpensive \"street food\"-style dumplings and noodles, and don\'t skip the pork buns; they\'re a dim sum staple that are made perfectly here. The limited menu doesn\'t seem to affect their success; a few well-made items are a refreshing change from restaurants with extensive but tasteless menus. This is a don\'t-miss if you\'re travelling through Charlottesville.

The only reason I go to this Starbuck's it is open at 5:30 on weekdays and I have to be at work by 6. The Baristas are rude!!! If I had my choice I would always go another one. Better tasting coffee and better service.

Italian Villa - Comment

My husband and I went there late last Thursday night. The person who sat us was rude. My salad was swimming in dressing, my gyro platter was more like a plate full of lamb jerky. I told the server (who was the only good thing about my experience) who in turn told the manager. She took the meal off the bill (which I didn\'t eat), but I as I was paying didn\'t apologize, in fact didn\'t say a word.
